Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) Recruitment Circular 2022 has been published.DPDC is a premier electric supply company.  A total of 33 people will be recruited for the post of Assistant Engineer in DPDC. 

invites applications from eligible candidates from genuine citizens of Bangladesh for immediate recruitment to the post of Contractual Assistant Engineer for an initial period of maximum three (03) years at a time. 

Contractual appointment may be renewed every three (03) years.

 1. The post of Assistant Engineer is engaged in the functional area of ​​Engineering, primarily in support of distribution management, sub-stations, distribution lines, load management, consumer connections, commercial operations, planning, design, development and maintenance related functions.  Preparation of project profiles for electrical network systems etc.;  Reporting to Executive Engineer.  He will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Engineer to achieve DPDC targets (eg quality of distribution, revenue etc.).

 Required Qualification: B.Sc.  Candidates passing the grading system in Engineering in Electrical and Electronic subjects must have at least a GPA / CGPA 4.0 on a 5.0 scale and a CGPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.  Letter grades in O Level and A Level subjects should be converted into grade points based on A = 4, B = 3, C = 2 and D- 1.  Grade Point Average (GPA) must be calculated using the grade point average to demonstrate strong participatory leadership abilities.  Must have strong communication skills in Bengali and English (written and verbal) along with computer literacy.

 2.Maximum age is 30 (thirty) years as on 02/10/2022 and maximum age may be 32 (thirty two) years as on 02/10/2022 in case of son/daughter of freedom fighters.  (Thirty five) years for employees of DPDC.

 3. Those who have recently appeared in the examination and are yet to obtain their degree, need not apply for the post.

 4.The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application and to increase or decrease the number of posts / posts.  It may seem appropriate and no explanation shall be provided to the applicant for such action.  Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
